At Hrvatski Telekom, we intensively work on plans every day to accomplish all the steps prescribed by the appropriate protocol, to ensure continuity of work as a company of strategic importance to our country. It is our responsibility to all employees, the company, and society as a whole.
To further protect the health of our employees, it has been decided that all employees who have conditions to work from home and who have the consent of their superiors to work from home starting today, March 13. It should be emphasized that all the employees working this way will be supported by the numerous digital tools at our disposal, through which all communication and arrangements within the teams will continue to proceed smoothly.
Employees whose work cannot be done from home (frontline colleagues) continue to work in their workplaces (in HT premises, stores and in the field) because we must also take care of our customers and help our entire society to continue functioning in these challenging times as well - and ensuring a stable and reliable communication service is a priority. For employees who will continue to work in HT premises, we will provide maximum health protection while performing their tasks (more frequent cleaning, disinfection, and other necessary hygiene conditions.
Among the measures we have taken are the postponed business trips abroad as well as the strict recommendation to delay private trips.
We also recommend fewer live meetings. As a technology leader and company providing advanced telecommunication solutions, we can ensure meetings via conference or video conferencing, both with business customers and with colleagues from the Deutsche Telekom Group and with each other.
