Within T-Mobile's European Red Thread Campaign, the Matej's Best Graffiti Jam Project Campaign won the prestigious Eurobest 2010 Award, last week at the European Advertising Festival. In intense competition with as many as 4339 campaigns from 37 European countries, the campaign won bronze in the Integrated category - the most interesting and most competitive category, as it is awarding prizes to campaigns created by coordination of several communications channels, with special emphasis on engagement of social networks, new media and new technologies.
„We are very proud of this award, one of many prizes awarded to our company in the area of advertising. It is a big challenge to present to our customers the high-tech services which change almost on a daily basis. We are extremely satisfied to have been recognized by international experts, this is giving us a lot of impetus, but at the same time, we are obligated to come up with even better, even more innovative projects.“ said Vedrana Hercigonja Majetić, Director of HT's Marketing Communications Department.
Matej's Best Graffiti Jam Project has been realized by T-Mobile in cooperation with the Saatchi & Saatchi Croatia Agency, part of the Publicis Group.
About T-Mobile's Red Thread Concept
T-Mobile's innovative Red Thread Campaign is based on ideas/projects of individuals who wish to create special moments and share them with others, and this goal can simply be achieved by means of telecommunications services. In addition to Matej's Best Graffiti Jam Project , T-Mobile has been supporting similar projects in Macedonia, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, the Netherlands, Austria, Montenegro and Great Britain.
Young Matej Lulić from Osijek wanted to organize the biggest Graffiti Jam in Croatia. Graffiti Jam is a term for the Urban Street Art Festival, which is taking place in Croatia rather infrequently, involving a small circle of young people. Matej wanted to share the creativity and positive energy generated at such festivals with as many people as possible. With the help of T-Mobile services (telephone calls, SMS, MMS and mobile Internet) he succeeded in his plan, and on 17 August of this year, he successfully organized the biggest Graffiti Jam in Croatia which saw the participation of more than a hundred artists.
