The devices are based on the improved Symbian^3 OS which brings more than 50 novelties
Next week, HT will complement its wide smartphone range with the latest models from the renowned Finnish company Nokia. The top line models are Nokia N8 and Nokia C7, the first devices featuring the latest Symbian^3 OS which brings a brand new interface and more than 50 novelties. An excellent choice for customers looking for extreme multimedia capability and fast access to the Web and social networks.
The Nokia N8 is the latest model of the highly acclaimed Nokia N series, and it does live up to our expectations. It is not only the first device with the Symbian^3 operating system, it also boasts extraordinary technical features, such as, above all, the 12 megapixel autofocus camera with flash, huge data storage capacity (photos, video etc.) as it offers 16 GB of storage, expandable to 32 GB. It also offers recording and viewing of HD (high definition) video material, an outstanding, scratch resistant AMOLED touch screen which supports multi-touch, an accelerometer sensor, WI-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth, Java Script support and many other top line smartphone features, such as a secondary camera for video calls, a digital compass, Carl Zeiss lens, Xenon flash etc.
The device boasts an extremely durable battery which will provide 12.30 hours of talk time or 50 hours of continuous music play.
The Nokia C7 also features the big AMOLED touch screen with 16 million colors which will please the user when viewing photos and video clips. The display also supports the advanced multitouch and is scratch resistant thanks to a special coating. The resolution of the digital camera is 8 megapixels, including LED flash and HD video recording and viewing, while the 8 GB of internal storage can accommodate hundreds of files (the memory can be expanded to 16 GB). The device also features an accelerometer, a digital compass and and Java Script support. The battery of the Nokia C7 will provide up to 9.30 hours of talk time and even 54 hours of continuous music play. HT will offer the Nokia C7 device bundled with free stereo earphones.
Both devices may be customized to the users' personal needs – thousands of applications are available from Nokia's virtual store – the Ovi Store, along with free of charge use of Nokia's GPS navigation.
The Nokia N8 and C7 will be available from Monday at all T-Centers. In the iTariff models, the Nokia N8 will have a price tag of 2.498 HRK, while the C7, will be available, also within the iTariff models, for 1.898 HRK.
