T-Hrvatski Telekom (Reuters: THTC.L, HT.ZA; Bloomberg: THTC LI, HTRA CZ), Croatia’s leading telecommunications provider, announces that its Supervisory Board has elected Mr. Mark Klein President of the Supervisory Board of Hrvatski Telekom d.d., following the resignation of Mr. Andreas Moelich announced on 31 August.
Mr. Klein has been a member of the Supervisory Board since April 2012, as one of Deutsche Telekom AG's representatives. Mr. Klein joined Deutsche Telekom in 2012 and is currently Senior Vice President Commercial Excellence (Marketing, Sales, Services) Europe and Technology.
Separately, Mrs. Branka Skaramuča has resigned as Member of the Management Board of HT d.d. and Chief Human Resources Officer. She will leave HT on 17 September 2012 to take up the position of Senior Vice President HR Europe and Technology at Deutsche Telekom, assuming responsibility for international HR across the European region.
Mrs. Skaramuča will be succeeded as Member of the Management Board of HT d.d. and Chief Human Resources Officer by Mrs. Irena Jolić Šimović, currently Member of the Management Board of HT d.d. and Chief Operating Officer Business. Mrs. Jolić Šimović had previously been a Member of the Management Board of HT d.d. and Chief Human Resources Officer for the Company from August 2006 – September 2008.
The overall responsibilities of the Chief Operating Officer Business will be undertaken by the Member of the Management Board and Chief Operating Officer (COO) Norbert Hentges until a replacement is named in due course.
