Within the scope of the first joint conference of the Zagreb Stock Exchange and the fund industry, held in Rovinj under the title "Challenge of Change: Future of Financial Markets", on 18 October, Poslovni Dnevnik magazine presented, for the third time in a row, awards for best investor relations to national companies.
The title of best national company in terms of investor relations went to Hrvatski Telekom; the award was accepted on behalf of the Company by Ms Erika Kašpar, Operating Director of the Corporate Communications and Shareholder Relations Sector. The second place went to Podravka, while Viro sugar factory took the third prize.
Poslovni Dnevnik magazine has picked the prize winners among 35 companies whose shares are listed on the official market of the Zagreb Stock Exchange and among the most liquid companies from the regular market of the Zagreb Stock Exchange and all companies included in the calculation of the CROBEX10 share index. Therefore, these are the companies that have accepted stricter requirements regarding the transparency of their operations, but also the ones that are in the investors' most pronounced focus.
The final ranking list used as a basis for proclamation of the awardees was created by application of ZSE data on observance of the rules for publication of regular and ad hoc information on business operation, as well as on the basis of a poll conducted by Poslovni Dnevnik magazine among national investors - investment companies, banks, fund management and insurance companies.
Let us remind that at the first event organized by Poslovni Dnevnik magazine and the Zagreb Stock Exchange, held in 2010, HT was also awarded for the best investor relations, while at the second event in 2011, HT received the award for second place.
